 Dr. Megan Leyda graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2015. After graduation, she completed an ocular disease residency at the Dayton Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Leyda has been with Waynesburg Vision Care since July 2018. Some of her practice interests include myopia management, convergence and accommodative therapy, dry eye treatment, and glaucoma and macular degeneration management.

Dr. Leyda grew up in Dublin, OH, and currently resides in Louisville, OH, with her husband, Dr. Ethan Leyda, and goldendoodle, Ted. Both Dr. Leyda’s, have a heart for spreading the gospel with optometry mission with their most recent trip being to Morogoro, Tanzania. Dr. Megan Leyda is apart of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists board of directors working with optometry student chapters. In her free time, you’ll find her in the kitchen baking or spending time with family and friends. 

Dr. Olivia DiRuzza will graduate from The Ohio State University College of  Optometry in 2026. She also completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio State. 

Dr. DiRuzza grew up in Canton, Ohio and now resides in Massillon, Ohio with her fiancé Raymond Schembechler. Some interests of hers are managing ocular disease and fitting contact lenses. She enjoys going on optometry mission trips as well. The next trip she’s going on will be to Cuba with Cross Eyed Missions. Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends and has a passion for traveling, having been to almost 20 of the National Parks.
